Coastal Carolina vs Kansas

Coastal beat Kansas last season in a 12-7 barn-burner, and returns their QB, RB, WRs, and their best players on defense.  Coastal outgained the Jayhawks 290-281, including 150 yards rushing from CJ Marable.  The good news for Coastal is that Marable is back, the bad news for Kansas is they lost 10 of their top 17 tacklers from 2019, including 3 starters on the defensive line.

Kansas is currently holding a 7 man race for the starting QB position, which is never a good sign, but they will have two stud WRs in Parchment and Robinson.  How cool are the RB names in the Big 12?  Okie State has a stud named Chuba, and Kansas has a baller named Pooka.  And Pooka can run.  Pooka can catch.  Pooka is out there just being Pooka, it’s a sight to behold.

There is a hot idea running through the degenerate grapevine that spring practice is a significant variable in this year’s Covid season……Coastal had 15 spring practices before the Big Pause, while Kansas had none.

Who Cares, What’s the Pick

This line opened at Kansas -3.5 and mysteriously shot up to -7.  Maybe Vegas has an inside track on the QB competition in Lawrence, or perhaps Joe Public looked at a P5 team playing Coastal Carolina and steamed up the major conference team.  Regardless, this is a pick em game, and 7 is way too many points to lay against an experienced team that won this matchup last season.

Whatever your unit is……1 unit = $10, $20, $100, $1,000 etc, it would be worth it to shave a small slice off to play Coastal on the moneyline at +225

Coastal Carolina + 7 (-115) 2 units

Coastal Carolina ML +225 0.5 unit

Under 56.5 1 unit
